In another area, Bouhabib said following his meeting in Geneva with Cypriot Interior Minister Constantinos Ioannou, “We agreed on the importance of Lebanon and Cyprus working together and with other partners, to find sustainable solutions to the Syrian displacement crisis.”
He added, “We understand the difficulties that Cyprus faces regarding the issue of Syrian displacement. Lebanon has previously warned its European partners of the danger of this file to all of us.
He announced that he agreed with the Cypriot minister “on the necessity of finding a different and creative approach to address the repercussions of the displacement crisis.”
