References from the four entities of the Agricultural Liaison Table met with the Secretary of Bioeconomy, Fernando Vilella, to review some points of the package of economic measures announced last Tuesday by the Minister of Economy, Luis Caputo.

After the meeting, Carlos Achetoni stated that it was agreed to analyze “chain by chain and product by product, because there are many productions that do not resist any type of pressure”, in relation to the Government’s intention to tax all exports at 15%.

Caputo said that people received the adjustment “very happy” and promised that retirees will receive “higher increases.”

“There are many regional and dairy economies that do not resist pressure with withholdings beyond the competitiveness of the dollar,” added the ruralista.

For its part, Nicolas Pino, commented: “The Economy officials who were present have the idea of ​​taxing all productions at 15%, not just those in the agricultural sector. In this context, as representatives of the sector, “We said that we do not agree with the measure.”

“They committed to setting up technical tables to analyze each situation. Withholdings are the worst tax that a production can have,” added the president of the Rural Society.

Export registration reopened
