One of the main highlights (perhaps too little) of the new Star Wars trilogy (Episodes 7-9) is the villain Kylo Ren, brilliantly played by Adam Driver.in the first movie The Force Awakens Before filming began, director JJ Abrams explained to Driver his vision for the character, a journey that would be the opposite of Darth Vader.
Vader is here A New Hope Starting off as a staunch believer in the dark side, Kylo Ren is more ambivalent. But as Vader becomes more human and becomes Anakin once more following meeting his son Luke Skywalker, Kylo will become increasingly consumed by the dark side.
This obviously didn’t happen when Adam Driver visited The Rich Eisen ShowAt the time, he explained:

“I have an overall arc, which is[JJ艾布拉姆斯]want to do. His idea is,[凱洛]’s journey is the opposite of Vader’s, who embarks on a journey most confident and committed to the dark side. And then by the last movie, he’s at his most vulnerable and weakest. He wanted to start with the opposite situation. This character is the most confused and vulnerable, and by the end of the three films, he will be the most committed to the dark sideof.
Things started to change on the set of Rian Johnson’s The Last Jedi, with Driver saying the director took a different approach to what he was told “different directions”. He also added this, regarding the fact that Kylo Ren is Ben Solo once more:

“That was never part of it. He was Ben Solo from the beginning, but when I first signed up, we had never seen a version of Ben Solo.
Do you think the original character arc of Kylo Ren becoming increasingly evil sounds more interesting than what we ended up getting?
