For Rio de Janeiro residents, the Galeão – São José dos Campos route represents a new offer for the busy state of São Paulo, complementing Gol’s flights currently in operation from Rio to São Paulo/Guarulhos (GRU), São Paulo/Congonhas ( CGH) and Campinas/Viracopos (VCP), in addition to the traditional Santos Dumont-Congonhas air bridge.
From March 27th, the inaugural flight G3 2116 will leave RIOgaleão at 9:55 pm, landing in São José dos Campos at 11:00 pm, always on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. Flight G3 2117 will depart from Vale do Paraíba (SP) at 6:20 am, landing in Rio de Janeiro at 7:25 am, on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Operations will be carried out with GOL’s Boeing 737 aircraft, with capacity for up to 186 passengers.
