The “Les Minis Kids” crèche, located in Champigny-sur-Marne in Val-de-Marne, was the scene of an extremely violent scene this Tuesday, December 12. According to the Créteil public prosecutor’s office, an individual entered the premises of the establishment before heading towards the office of the director, Delphine, with his face uncovered. Particularly virulent, the man then exhibited a knife, carrying a 15 cm blade, before verbally attacking the victim, of Jewish faith.
The perpetrator is still on the run
“You’re a Jew, you’re a Zionist. Five of us are going to come and rape you, cut you up like they did in Gaza,” he shouted, while banging his hand on the desk, before to escape. The children present in the nursery, but confined in a room, did not witness the scene, specifies the prosecution. No injuries were reported, but the director, who will file a complaint, was particularly shocked. “I didn’t react. I was unmoved. I’m not even sure I might have breathed at that moment,” she testified on Europe 1.
Since then, for the director, it has been trauma. “I’m afraid, I can’t tell myself that I’m going to reopen a daycare where I welcome babies and parents. We’re going to see psychologists, to see how things evolve and that this trauma doesn’t end in depression , or even more”, hopes Delphine. “For the moment, the parents do not want to come back at all, there are some who want to remove the children from the nursery.”
A blatant investigation was opened, in particular for “threat of death materialized due to race, ethnicity, nation or religion” or even “violence followed by incapacity not exceeding eight days with three aggravating circumstances” . It was entrusted to the departmental judicial police service of Val-de-Marne. According to information from Europe 1, the nursery will remain closed until further notice. As a safety measure, another nursery located in the same street was also subject to confinement. The perpetrator is, for the moment, still on the run.
