Gol Linhas Aéreas will have a new international destination from March 2024. Bogotá, capital of Colombia, will be served by the Company with its own non-stop operations departing from both São Paulo/Guarulhos (GRU) and Buenos Aires/Ezeiza ( EZE).
The novelty meets Gol’s purpose of increasingly integrating countries in the region, promoting tourism in the Americas and business travel.
Operations between São Paulo international airport and the Colombian capital will begin on March 31, 2024, departing at 11:35 pm and arriving at 3:50 am local time (two hours less than Brasília time). The return is scheduled to take off from El Dorado airport, in Bogotá, at 11:55 pm, landing in Greater São Paulo at 8:20 am. Initially there will be 4 weekly frequencies, becoming daily in July 2024.
Bogotá is the gateway to several destinations operated by Avianca, a strategic partnership with Gol. All flights will be operated using Boeing 737 MAX 8 models, the most sustainable aircraft in Gol’s fleet, which in international configuration has capacity for 176 passengers.
Gol’s new flight expands the offer between the two metropolises and adds to the three daily flights offered between São Paulo and Bogotá by Avianca, generating unique capacity between the two countries. In addition to the capital of São Paulo, the largest Colombian airline also offers direct flights from Bogotá to Rio de Janeiro, Belo Horizonte and Manaus.
In addition to the connection between the international airports of Bogotá and Guarulhos, Gol will also have direct flights between Colombia and Argentina. Nonstop operations from Bogotá to Buenos Aires begin on April 1, with takeoffs from the Colombian capital at 5:50 am, arriving in Ezeiza at 2:20 pm. The return takes place with departure at 4:50 pm and planned landing at El Dorado airport, in Bogotá, at 9:25 pm.
Gol currently operates in 12 other airports outside Brazil in the cities of Asunción, Buenos Aires (Aeroparque and Ezeiza), Córdoba, Mendoza, Montevideo, Orlando, Paramaribo, Punta Cana, Miami, Rosário and Santa Cruz de la Sierra.
