Social pass for students arrives in Benguela – news

Students registered and receiving the Giramais social pass will begin to benefit, from today, December 12th, in Benguela, from this document made available by the National Integrated Ticketing Company (ENBI). Today, ENBI is registering and issuing the Giramais social pass for students, marking the start of the SNBI-National Integrated Ticketing System, in the province of Benguela. In the first phase, registered students who receive the pass benefit from up to 60 free trips per month on public passenger transport.

The ceremony will take place at 12 noon, at Escola 10 de Fevereiro, located in the main municipality of the province of Benguela. Initially, Giramais social pass issuing points will be set up in six schools in the province’s main municipality, where those in charge can go to process the document, with the opening of official Giramais stores soon, in the surrounding municipalities of Catumbela and Lobito.

In addition to Colégio BG 1115 (10 February), which will host the launch event, according to the press release that reached the OPAÍS newspaper, ENBI technicians will register and issue the social pass at Colégio BG 1118 (Kassequel 1) , Colégio BG 0007 (Dangerreux), Escola do 1st Cycle BG 2011 Saydi Mingas, Complexo Escolar BG 2101 José Ilídio Manjenje and Complexo Escolar do Ensino Especial BG 1038.

To access the inclusive urban mobility program for students, parents and guardians of students attending primary education (grades 1 to 6) and secondary education (grades 7 to 9) They must attach a copy of the student’s registration document (personal ID card) or personal identification document (ID), three (3) passport photographs, 1,000 kwanzas to purchase the registration form and a copy of the ID of the person in charge requesting membership.

Before the pass issuance ceremony, ENBI, at 9 am, signs SNBI membership contracts with 13 local public transport operators for urban passengers, which will be attended by the Provincial Director of Transport, Cátia Cachuco. The signing of the SNBI membership contracts will make Benguela the third province incorporated into the National Integrated Ticketing System in the country, following Luanda and Huíla. The carriers Rosalina Express, Transpacifico, Transpinto, Hermalina, Okuilavala, Nkole, Casafe, Ofecif, Engesab, Gepe, HHM and Filhos, H and L and JWBRAS are included.
