After the inspection carried out recently, the red-black club did not receive any ‘feedback’ from the Angolan Federation of the sport, which led lovers of the king sport to believe that the venue was failed. This newspaper knows that the FAF Technical Council, led by José Neves, has prepared a document to inform the club’s management regarding the measures that need to be taken to improve infrastructure.

However, everything indicates that the venue will receive the “green light” from the sport’s governing body in the country, in the coming days, as the military club followed the recommendations left by the federation during the first inspection of the venue, resulting in significant improvements, especially in bathhouses. The venue, named following General França Ndalu (founding member of the club), has the capacity to receive twenty thousand spectators.

The space, built in 2012, was inaugurated on the 2nd of this month, and was witnessed by the Minister of Youth and Sports, Palmira Barbosa, and the president of the Angolan Olympic Committee, Gustavo da Conceição, as well as other Angolan sports entities. The military has already won the Girabola, the National Football Championship, on thirteen occasions (1979, 1980, 1981, 1991, 1992, 1996, 1998, 1999, 2006, 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019).

It is worth remembering that the red-black club operates sixteen sports, namely football, basketball, handball, volleyball, athletics, sailing, clay pigeon shooting, swimming, tennis, chess, roller hockey, judo, canoeing, taekwando, fishing and karate.
