There will not even have been a need to remove the S-shaped lighting fixtures… After the bankruptcy of the famous restaurant Le Strogoff last October, the premises offering a bird’s-eye view of the Place de Paris are preparing to experience a new destiny. A new restaurant is due to open its doors within a few days, in the month of December, announces a publication on Facebook. Called “Stazione”, this new concept is launched by an Englishwoman, Lolita Ancion

, and Jérémy Pastre, already active in the world of catering in Luxembourg. The latter was also operations director at Maison Mazelier, the group to which the former Strogoff belonged.

Both are mentioned as managers of the company Lomy Lux, active under the trade name Stazione. It was incorporated on November 16 and officially registered in the Trade and Companies Register on November 24.

On the menu, offerings very close to the old Strogoff menu, with Italian accents, with cheese and charcuterie boards to share. But also a selection of starters, tartars, some fish and meats. Pastas and risottos and around fifteen pizzas complete the menu, already published on the website of the new restaurant, the opening of which is only a “matter of days”, indicate the managers on the restaurant’s Facebook page.

As a reminder, the Strogoff had lowered the curtain due to “a succession of pitfalls between the health crisis and the tram construction site which made life difficult for its establishment located in the Gare district”, indicated the former manager of the Mazelier company, Richard Mazelier, who operated the Strogoff.

Contacted, the new managers had not yet responded to us at the time of publishing this article.
