Payment of the exceptional purchasing power bonus does not seem to be the rule in local authorities. Far from it… Unlike the state civil service and the hospital civil service where all eligible agents will receive it, local executives are free to implement it or not. This concerns agents whose gross monthly remuneration did not exceed 3,250 euros on average between July 2022 and the end of June 2023.

In the capital, the allocation of this bonus will be on the agenda of the Paris Council which will begin this Tuesday. “We are one of the only communities to be able to do it,” said Olivia Polski, Anne Hidalgo’s deputy (PS) in charge of human resources, on Thursday. The town hall has stuck to the ceiling provided for each level of remuneration by the decree of October 31, with bonuses which will therefore range from 300 to 800 euros (for the lowest salaries). More than 38,000 agents will benefit at a cost of 19 million euros for the City.
