Karl Geiger landed at 144 and 146 meters and was the first German ever to celebrate an individual victory at this venue. Kraft was fourth following the first jump at 140 m, but almost achieved victory number five.

The Japanese Ryoyu Kobayashi finished third, 2.8 points behind Kraft. Michael Hayböck also managed to improve in the second round, jumping from 14th to eighth place with a 145 m jump. Jan Hörl, 15th following the first heat, also made it into the top ten in tenth place. Daniel Tschofenig and Manuel Fettner rounded off the Austrians’ strong team result with places 19 and 20. Daniel Huber was the only one of the ÖSV sextet who narrowly failed to make it into the final of the top 30.
