British actor Hugh Grant (63) became a hot topic when he freely confessed, “I hated everything,” at an official event attended to promote a new film.

‘Wonka’ deals with the youth of Willy Wonka, a character from Roald Dahl’s fairy tale ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’. In this film, Grant played the role of an Oompa Loompa, a dwarf race, and the actor faced difficulties as he had to keep attaching cameras and equipment to create the body of this lilliputian using motion capture techniques.
Grant said of this, “I felt very uncomfortable because it felt like I was wearing a crown of thorns. So it made a big fuss. “I really hated it all,” he said.
He also added, “I wasn’t sure whether I should act with my body or not, and I mightn’t get a satisfactory answer.”

When asked whether he felt it was worth it following seeing the final result, he answered, “Not really,” making his colleagues laugh.
“It was pretty fun, it was messy and we got to try new things,” Grant said, jokingly adding, “I kind of hate it, but I have a lot of kids and I need the money.”
It is reported that he has five children, the youngest of whom is 5 years old.
Foreign media generally gave favorable reviews, saying that the cynical and grumpy character of ‘Oompa Loompa’ in the play and Grant’s acting were a great match for this generous yet honest personality. Director Paul King also told the media that the reason he cast him as the Oompa Loompa was “because of his eccentric personality.”
The movie ‘Wonka’ starring Hugh Grant and Timothée Chalamet will be released in North America on the 15th. The domestic release date has not been set.
