For a few years now, Apple has been launching new features aimed at accessibility whenever it releases a major version of its operating systems — which is the case with iOS/iPadOS 17.
In these versions, Maçã launched a feature called Assistive Access (Assistive Access). With it, it is possible to use the iPhone/iPad with a different interface to make the experience of using the device even better for people with some type of cognitive disability. The buttons and items on the screen become larger, and everything becomes easier to navigate.
Check out how to configure this in the paragraphs below! ????
Open Settings, tap “Accessibility” and then “Assistive Access”. Then choose “Set up Assistive Access”.
Follow the following steps to choose the Apple ID that will use the device in this way, as well as the appearance of the feature (which can be “Lines” or “Grid”) and select the apps that will be available there.
Within each of the apps, you can still choose things like camera modes and receiving messages, for example.
In the following steps, define a code for Assistive Access. Finally, enter it by typing this combination and wait a few seconds for the interface to change.
If you want to exit Assistive Access, press the side/Home button three times and choose “Exit Assistive Access”. From there, it is also possible to call emergency services or make further adjustments to the resource.
Afterwards, going to Settings » Accessibility » Assistive Controlyou can also make necessary adjustments to the feature, such as changing the background image, enabling the use of Siri, and more.
Very interesting, don’t you think?
