Pokémon Go has revealed information regarding its Ice-Type Capture Mastery event. Here’s everything you need to know.
In March 2023, Niantic hosted a Capture Mastery that featured Kapoera, Kicklee, and Tygnon. With increased chances of encountering shiny Pokémon, players might encounter these Fighting-type Pokémon more frequently in the wild.
This time, Pokémon Go is focusing on the Ice-type creatures Stalgamin, Grelaçon, and Hexagel for its Ice-type Capture Mastery.

According to the official Pokémon Go blog, the event will take place on Saturday December 9, 2023from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. local time.

Pokémon Go Ice-Type Catch Mastery Event Bonus and Spot Study
Increased chance of encountering Hexagel, Grelaçon and Stalgamin shiny 2x PX for successful captures with Nice, Super and Excellent throws.
The One-Time Research will focus on catching Ice-type Pokémon, and completing 10 sets of research tasks will grant you a total of 40 encounters with Hexagel.
