There are many people who love city life. The reason is that everything happens easily in the city. Be it transportation, hospital facilities, shopping etc. Every year more and more people are looking for cities. However, a new generation young man from China left the city life and his job and started living in a mountainous region.
Wenzi was born following 2000. Wenzi shared her experience on Chinese social media platform Dooin. A small shed made of Wenzi bamboo is built on the edge of a cliff on a hillside in Jiaxi, Guizhou, Wanshan. Since September 2023, Wenzi has been living here.
Interestingly, 500, 600 meters away from here is the birth place of Venzi. The road is so bad that it takes Wenzi hours to walk to his home. However, once in a fortnight Wenzi would go to the market and buy the necessary items. Now how does he spend his time on that mountain? He does all these things by sharing various things on social media, making videos and so on.
And he grows his own vegetables and raises pigs. If you ask me if I don’t feel lonely in that bamboo house on top of the hill, I have two dogs. Wenzi’s answer is that she never felt alone because of their company. Venzi has previously worked in construction sites and garment factories in the city. Wenzi says that now she loves this life and it doesn’t mean being separated from the world.
