This Tuesday, December 5, 2023 marks the end of early access for Disney Dreamlight Valley. The game is therefore officially finished and available in its full version. This does not mean, however, that updates will stop, quite the contrary. Today, you can enjoy the release of the first paid DLC but also a free update which we will detail below using the patch note.

In addition to the arrival of Jack Skellington in the Valley, this free update also brings exciting content for Christmas, new features in the Premium Shop (like winter skins) but also numerous fixes to improve the game and its quality of life.

The 10 new features and improvements

Get ready to welcome the pumpkin king to your valley! Jack Skellington arrives with new quests and unique items that will help you bring the atmosphere of Disney Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas to your village. A brand new multiplayer mode makes its appearance in the game with Valley Tours. Spend time together, share items, and collect Stardust to craft powerful cooking and crafting buffs! Transform your valley into a royal winter land with the new way of stars of the royal winter. Discover new optional items in the Premium Store for a limited time. Take on new weekly DreamSnaps challenges to show off your unique style and earn Moonstones. Keep your eyes peeled for gifts and wrapping paper in the valley with the return of theChristmas holiday event, Skirts going above and below the knees have been added to give you more clothing options! Take more control of your valley with ability to add or remove villagers in the map menu. Please note that villagers will still spawn in your village if a quest requires them. Some characters have received updates to their animations. Have fun catching them expressing themselves in your valley! The paid expansion DLC A Rift in Time is available now, delivering the first of three epic Acts!

All important fixes made to the game

The Disney Beauty and the Beast, Frozen, Mickey and Friends and Moana furniture collections have undergone slight changes in color and shape, with the aim of creating a more cohesive and unified look. Goofy’s signature hat is now more iconic: its size has been increased to match that of his own hat in the game. Improved Ralph’s rugged overalls by removing patches and adding signs of wear. Moana’s fishing stall has been adjusted to better represent her wa’a kaulua. A bug where the Pumpkin House was not appearing correctly in the Forgotten Lands for some players has been fixed. Wall-E paid quest: a bug related to the appearance of solar bird feathers has been fixed. Ursula’s “Sweet Lair” quest: A bug linked to the appearance of paper has been fixed. Olaf’s quest “The Great Blizzard”: A bug related to the appearance of water particles has been fixed. Kristoff’s quest “A Broken Sled”: A bug related to the game freezing when picking up the sled has been fixed. Elsa’s “Like Home” quest: a bug related to the appearance of the secret chest has been corrected in order to unblock players who encountered this problem. A bug related to the Lioness Statue in the Forest of Courage becoming inaccessible has been fixed. A variety of bugs related to the appearance of certain objects, including furniture when viewed with certain graphics settings, have been fixed. An issue with villagers being too close together, causing graphical issues, has been fixed.
