Muscat: Kallummakaya, a Malayalee’s favorite dish, is now trending in Oman. Expatriate Malayalis go to Al Ashkara, where there is a lot of stone fruit growing in Oman, and pick cartloads of stone fruit. It takes regarding four hours to reach Ashkara from Muscat. It is during this season that pebbles are readily available from the sea shores in various regions of Oman.
