The 56-year-old fell unconscious following jumping from a height of 764 feet. He died following a few hours. The cause of death is believed to be asphyxiation during the bungee jump. As soon as he was unconscious, Conte S. Januario was rushed to the hospital but was declared dead. A detailed investigation into the incident is underway.
