The Pride March in Bariloche vindicated the acquired rights

To the frenetic pace of a troupe, a large group of people participated this Saturday in the LGBTIQNB+ Pride March in Bariloche.

The demonstration that claimed the rights achieved during years of struggle and demanded the fulfillment of other pending tasks, took place in an atmosphere of integration and celebration in the streets of the center of this city.

The march was the culmination of a day that had begun with several activities at the city’s Civic Center. There, the festival was organized with the participation of several local artists. Stalls were also set up with information related to the theme of the march and an entrepreneurs’ fair.

The cold and intense wind did not prevent hundreds of people from joining the mobilization that began following 6 p.m. and covered several blocks of the center of Bariloche.

There were flags with the claim for the appearance of Tehuel de la Torre, a young trans man who disappeared on the followingnoon of March 11, 2021 when he was leaving his home in San Vicente, Buenos Aires.

“Rights yes, right no,” was another of the slogans they expressed in the mobilization. Also, a document was circulated with a series of claims and slogans and which also recalled the years of persecution once morest transvestites and trans people during these 40 years of democracy.

And they demanded a historical reparation not only economic but also social and cultural. They demanded the priority of the transvestite transvestite job quota for adults over 40 years of age, respect for childhood and adolescence, and the end of transvestisides.

“Here we are, who dance, sing and march under the slogans “no more cuts to acquired rights”, “neither one more adjustment nor one less right.” And we urgently ask for the sanction of the Comprehensive Trans Law and the Recognize and Reparate Law,” they expressed in the document released by the organizers.

Diversity Week in Bariloche It began on Monday with workshops, conversations, plays, dances, photographic exhibitions, a fair and a party. The Pride March closed the activities.
