A baby was burned during a fire that occurred during the night from Friday to Saturday in an apartment in Liège, we learned on Saturday morning from the Liège firefighters.
Rescuers intervened around midnight in rue Renardi, in Liège. A fire broke out, for an as yet undetermined reason, on the first floor of an apartment building.
When firefighters arrived, the family took refuge with neighbors.
A baby was burned and poisoned by smoke during the disaster. He was transported to the Liège Citadelle hospital before being transferred to the burn center at the Reine Astrid hospital in Neder-Over-Heembeek.
