The representative of the Hebrew State in Belgium, Idit Rozensweig-Abu, attracted the wrath of many political parties following a tweet on the title of an article and the photo montage of a newspaper dealing with the release of Israeli hostages and Palestinian prisoners. Throwing fuel on fire will not help anything (…) This is the message that my office clearly conveyed to the ambassador“. The minister said she had heard the ambassador’s apologies in the media and noted that the tweet in question had been removed. In the eyes of the deputies, Belgium cannot be satisfied with such an attitude.
