The dining room-snack bar that operates in Barrio Nuevo began this initiative four years ago following noticing the difficult economic situation of many families who resort to the place every day. Florencia Gabba, president of the Corazón Solidario Civil Association, commented to this medium that They are collecting donations to be able to deliver a Christmas box to more than 100 families in the neighborhood.
«Because of the situation in the country, today we are very affected. Many of those who help us today cannot or are afraid of a new increase,” Gabba pointed out. We have more than 100 families in the Dining Room where we give dinners, lunches and snacks as long as we have them, but now we are in the Christmas season,” he explained and added, “We are in our fourth year doing this collection, but this year especially we find it very difficult to get there. “The situation is difficult.”
