The founders and co-presidents of the Interreligious Dialoguethe former secretary general of the Islamic Center in Argentina, Omar Abboud; the rabbi of the Bet El Community, Daniel Goldman; and the former spokesperson of the Archbishopric of Buenos Aires, Guillermo Marco They will share an academic session on “Conflict, Values ​​and Coexistence” where it is expected that they will analyze the international situation in light of the events in Ukraine and Israel, as well as the Argentine experience of harmonious coexistence between religions.

“It seemed most appropriate in the current context to share the reflections of figures such as the founders of the Interreligious Dialogue for the Relaunch of the Permanent Seminar for the Study, Prevention and Resolution of Conflicts, since listening to and understanding another is part of what is needed for us to have a more just world,” explained the president of CARI, Francisco de Santibañes.

The event will take place at the CARI headquarters in the Retiro neighborhood and will be opened by De Santibañes and presented by Claudio Lutzky, member of the CARI Environmental Studies and Human Development Committee; In addition to being moderated by the member of the think tank’s Executive Committee, Marita Carballo, it will have the confirmed presence of former Foreign Minister Adalberto Rodríguez Giavarini, an active participant in the Interreligious Dialogue.

The meeting will take place on Thursday, November 30 at 6 p.m. in person at Uruguay 1037, in the City of Buenos Aires.
