Three years following the murder of teacher Samuel Paty in France, the trial of six students who are said to have had something to do with the bloody crime begins on Monday in a juvenile court in Paris. On October 16, 2020, the 47-year-old history teacher Paty was killed by an attacker in a Paris suburb and then beheaded. The crime was classified as an Islamist-motivated act of terrorism and sparked international outrage.
