HQ It’s been almost a year since we heard official news regarding Rare’s next game, Everwild, which was originally announced in 2019. There have been rumors regarding the troubled development, and at this point, many almost consider it an urban legend. But now, British developer Rare is looking for a video producer who will “illustrate the work on Sea of Thieves as well as Rare’s next game, Everwild, #D819c56f5e34c4492c).” Video content is usually something added late in production, but at this point, we’re happy to hear that Rare is still developing Everwild and that it appears to be moving forward. Not much is known regarding Everwild, but it’s believed to be some kind of adventure simulator, and rumors say it doesn’t have any combat. VGC editor Andy Robinson said earlier this year that it would be at least a little like the Viva Piñata. We highly doubt D5771e2cff1494d068e218e8bdef3ac51 will be shown during The Game Awards next month, and a reasonable guess is that it will be released as early as 2025.
