(CNN) — Russia thwarted more than 20 drone attacks from Ukraine on its territory in the past day, including its capital Moscow, authorities said Sunday, a day following it launched the largest drone attack on Kyiv since the large-scale invasion began. scale.
According to the Russian Defense Ministry, in the last 24 hours, 24 Ukrainian drones were destroyed over the territories of Moscow, Tula, Kaluga, Bryansk and Smolensk provinces.

The strikes come following Russia launched the largest drone attack on Ukraine’s capital, Kyiv, since the start of its large-scale invasion, according to local officials.
