The Panamanian singer and composer Rubén Blades said goodbye to his father Rubén Blades Bosques on social networks, following announcing his death. Although the death of his father occurred on Friday, November 24, the artist announced the news this Saturday.

“I want to thank everyone who has written or called me, regretting the departure of my father Rubén to the other neighborhood.

To my friends and to the friends of ‘Skipper’ (his father) I apologize for not having immediately informed them of his death,” lamented the composer and singer on his social networks, where he received all the support of his followers.

The singer’s father was 99 years old and was Colombian, in a couple of months he would turn 100 years old.
