Poultry prices continue to soar at various points of sale in the Kingdom.

In Casablanca, a kilo now costs more than 20 dirhams, which has not failed to provoke the anger of consumers and professionals in the sector. Moreover, many have flocked to fish since the cost of poultry continues to rise.

“We are now unable to buy a whole chicken”, “Households with limited income are suffering from this increase in the price of poultry”, “We call on those responsible to intervene urgently to find a solution to this outbreak”, can- we read in comments on the Web.

In this regard, Khalid Rabti, the communications manager of the Interprofessional Federation of the Poultry Sector (FISA), explained this new increase in the price of poultry by the drop in production and the absence of rains in several regions of Morocco. .
