Gaza City: Palestinians organized the Friday Jumu’ah prayer inside the mosques destroyed by the Israeli attack. A special prayer was held inside the almost completely destroyed buildings. Hundreds of people came to pray. A video of this was shared by social media influencer Adam Abu Sulaima on Twitter.
Video includes sermon and bank before Jumu’ah prayer. Many people, including children, came to Jumu’ah with Musalla. In his speech, the imam talks regarding the current situation in Gaza and the return. ‘With the help of Allah we will rebuild it (the mosque). We will raise the sound of the bank call and pray here. Gazza is beautiful. With God’s help, we will return more brightly’- the speech said.

More than 60 were completely destroyed in the Israeli attack that continued for more than fifty days. More than 150 mosques and three churches were partially damaged. Israel also has strict restrictions on the holy site of Baitul Muqaddas.
