National Center of Meteorology: Today’s Weather Conditions in Saudi Arabia

The National Center of Meteorology revealed the expected weather conditions today, Saturday, the twenty-fifth of November, which includes various parts of the regions of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, such as Jazan, Asir, and Al-Baha, and extends to the highlands of Mecca, Medina, Al-Qassim, Hail, Al-Jawf, and the northern borders.

During the coming hours, the regions of the Kingdom will witness a noticeable drop in temperatures, with the continued chance of thunderstorms falling from moderate during the early morning hours to heavy during the peak hours of the rainy season.

Also, most of the modern weather maps, according to the National Center of Meteorology report, indicate that there is a high chance of active winds blowing dust and dirt during the day, which hinders horizontal visibility on the roads in most regions of the Kingdom.

While the maps indicated the possibility of significant fog formation in the skies of Asir, Al-Baha, Mecca, Medina, Al-Qassim, Hail, Al-Jawf, and the northern border, which increases during the day, leading to a lack of visibility.

Therefore, the General Directorate of Civil Defense warned of the need to be careful and not to leave homes during the day unless absolutely necessary, and in the case of going out and driving vehicles, driving instructions must be followed for the safety of all residents and citizens in the Kingdom’s territories.

As for the surface winds on the Red Sea, the National Meteorology Department stated that the wind speed today will be southeasterly to southwesterly at a speed of 15-30 km/h, reaching 40 km/h on the southern part, with wave heights from half a meter to one meter, reaching two meters on the southern part. South with thunder clouds.
