This Friday, the pots for the draw for the group stage of the Copa América 2024 were defined. The formation of the groups will be known on December 7, the day the event will take place in the United States, headquarters of the championship.
The Colombian National Team is in Pot 2, along with Uruguay, Ecuador and Peru, rivals that the national team will not be able to face, at least not in the group stage, but with whom they might meet in the final stages.
The heads of each group will be Brazil and Argentina, for South America, and the United States and Mexico, for Concacaf, all possible rivals for Néstor Lorenzo’s team in the first round of the championship.
