The administrative investigation opened following the death, near Nantes, of a schoolboy who suffered illness and then a fall following being vaccinated once morest the papillomavirus, did not find any evidence of ” dysfunction “, announced, Friday, November 24, the Regional Health Agency (ARS).
At the end of October, a 5 year old studente from the Saint-Dominique college in Saint-Herblain (Loire-Atlantique), had made a “heavy fall”, which caused head trauma, fifteen minutes following being vaccinated. Hospitalized at the Nantes University Hospital, the teenager succumbed to his injuries a few days later.
“The investigation does not reveal any dysfunction in the organization of the vaccination campaign, in the preparation of the federal prevention screening center (CFPD 44), (…) or on the distribution and provision of vaccines circuit which would have been the cause of the accident which led to the death of the young boy”writes the ARS of Pays de la Loire in a press release.
“However, elements still need to be explored in more detail regarding the conditions for triggering assistance and caring for the young boy following his fall”she continues, announcing that its director general will commission the general inspection of social affairs on this point.
