© Archyde.com. OPEC Plus sets the date of its upcoming meeting and explains the reason for the postponement
Arabictrader.com – Archyde.com news agency revealed, yesterday, Thursday: The Organization of the World’s Crude Oil Exporting Countries (OPEC) and its allies, OPEC Plus, have set the date for their next meeting, as OPEC is scheduled to hold its meeting on November 30 instead of November 26 via the Internet.
In this regard, OPEC Plus explained that the postponement of the meeting was due to the failure of producers to reach an agreement on production levels of crude oil, as well as potential supply cuts.
Also, she said that OPEC Plus members will discuss whether or not they should adjust production further at their meeting scheduled for November 30.
It is worth noting that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Russia (the world’s leading exporters of crude oil) announced earlier this month that they would maintain the additional voluntary reduction in oil production until the end of this year, and stated at that time that they and Russia would continue their additional voluntary reduction by 1.3 million barrels per day. Until the end of this year.
