Véronique Claveau thrives on new challenges and pleasure projects. When the opportunity to meet his long-time friend Marc-André Fortin on stage for the new show Disney in Concert: A Dream is a Wish presented herself to her, the singer might not refuse her.

Un spectacle international
Disney in concert is an international format that Just for Laughs has got its hands on. Joël Legendre then adapted it and converted it into a French-speaking version.
“A particular feature that I added was to do post-sync, like dubbing, because I saw characters who were speaking, but there were no words… it was louder “I’ve been doing this for 35 years, I’ve added little ones,” said the director.

Projects don’t stretch
In an interview with the QMI Agency, Véronique Claveau admitted to having a weakness for relatively short projects which allow her to touch on everything. “It’s a world where there are so many possibilities and so much talent. I find it fun to be able to meet people and to be able to discover others,” she said, citing as an example her colleague Sarah-Maude, whom she finds extraordinary and whose talent dazzles her.
“A project like Disney in concert it’s something that won’t come back, it’s a moment that I savor, but then it’s over and we move on to something else,” added the winner of the first season of Masked singers.
Disney in Concert: A Dream is a Wish will be presented from November 24 to 26 at Salle Wilfrid-Pelletier at Place des Arts.
