Jealousy or even distance in the absence of rapprochement between certain candidates got the better of several couples present in the show. It was the few couples at the end of this 18th season that surprised the public and caused a reaction. “We’ve never had such a catastrophic season in terms of the number of couples, we’re not going to lie to each other,” said the host in an Instagram story.
And for good reason, only one couple survived following the broadcast of the M6 show, that of Patrice and Justine. Despite tensions over their cohabitation, the Norman cow breeder has set his sights on Justine and not Véronique, the second contender. “And what a couple: Patrice and Justine, who got people talking,” says Karine Le Marchand, quoted by BFMTV.
Love, as far as Véronique and Charles are concerned, did not take the form of a crisis of jealousy. Manon, who was living a romance with Clément, was injured by the 26-year-old farmer, following he came to stay with her in Bordeaux. He will therefore leave the show alone.
“At least we don’t sugarcoat things, we don’t lie and we don’t pretend to have couples,” she admitted. The host recognizes that this season is a “crazy thing”, as she was able to mention, while waiting and hoping that the next season will bring together more couples.
