With more than 1,000 runners, the 4th edition of the Eiffage Dakar marathon reaffirmed its place as a major running event on the international scene with a marathon, a half-marathon, a 10km and a hike the day before.
The route allows you to discover all the emblematic places of Dakar.
Sunday November 19, 2023, in Dakar, the runners set off in difficult weather conditions due to high heat and humidity (30° from 7 a.m.). The technical course of the Eiffage marathon runs along the Corniche with a breathtaking view of the ocean and crosses the emblematic places of the capital such as the Place du Souvenir, the Mosque of the Divinity and even the Renaissance Monument.
This new edition represents a great success for the organization which carried out this event in perfect collaboration with the Ministry of Sports and technical partners such as the Senegalese Athletics Federation and the national Olympic committee and all the security and rescue services and partners private.
