An Arizona chiropractor has gone viral for a video posted to TikTok in which he explains why sleeping on your stomach is a really bad idea.
Dr. Jae Chang, who practices at the Chirowell wellness clinic, has reached more than 21 million Internet users thanks to his short video.
In it, he mentions that sleeping on your stomach can put undue pressure on the neck, lower back and even the heart.
“If you sleep on your stomach, you should turn your head to the side. “It can therefore cause tension and pressure on your neck, in addition to adding pressure to your lower back,” says Dr. Chang.
