Lando Norris posted on social media a photo of himself being taken to the hospital following a huge crash at the F1 Las Vegas Grand Prix, and reported that he was safe. Norris was running 13th when he entered the high-speed left-hand corner of Turn 11 on the third lap, and as he approached the braking zone of Turn 12, his car misbehaved and he crashed hard into the barrier.
After attending the circuit’s medical center, Norris was transferred to nearby University Medical Center. The FIA (Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile) said she had been removed from the circuit for a “precautionary investigation”. McLaren team principal Andrea Stella had previously announced that Lando Norris had been discharged from the hospital, but Norris posted on her social media account that he was safe and well, along with a photo of the car being transported to a rather extensive location. “Rainy day. Big impact. But I’m feeling okay! Thank you for all the messages. See you next week.” View this post on Instagram A post shared by his Lando Norris (@landonorris)
