The Argentine Néstor Girolami, with Honda Civic, finished the TCR World Tour motorsport (touring car) season in sixth place, registering that position in the second race of the weekend that took place in Macau.
The 34-year-old driver from Cordoba covered the 11 laps of the Asian circuit da Guía (6,120 meters long) and reached 6s. 043/1000 of the winner, the Belgian Frederic Vervisch (Audi RS3)
In this way, the native of Isla Verde completed an auspicious excursion through Macau, since in the first race, held on Saturday, he had qualified second, behind the Hungarian Norbert Michelisz (Hyundai), the new champion.
Girolami finished the contest in sixth place, with 340 units, following having won one of the 20 competitions held in the season: last August in La Pedrera de Villa Mercedes, province of San Luis.
Michelisz qualified as champion with 440 points; escorted by the Frenchman Yann Ehrlacher (Lynk), with 430; while third in the contest was the Englishman Rob Huff (Audi RS3), with 414.
