Four days following the death of the singer of Cowboys Fringants, Karl Tremblay, the guitarist and friend of the singer Jean-François Pauzé once once more expressed his sadness towards the man he calls his “left winger”.

“Strangely, my best times with Karl weren’t with the Cowboys. The ones that I particularly cherished happened on Sundays and Tuesdays when we went to play hockey,” the musician wrote on his Facebook account.

Mr. Pauzé shared with his virtual audience the habits he shared with his late friend – the Sunday night adventures at the arena, their “road to happiness”, in reference to their first written song, he said. he admits.

The guitarist, in his publication, detailed their post-match pleasures, between beers, laughter, teasing and confidences.

“We were coming back and you were chatting in the car. We are Generation X guys who are sometimes a little stuck inside. The effects of Bud Light loosened your tongue to confide more intimately. Sometimes,” the post reads.

These little pleasures ended two years ago, due to the illness which killed Karl Tremblay on Tuesday.

Mr. Pauzé, following expressing how much he missed these little outings with friends, concluded his tribute with the story of their last meeting, the “little last one”.

“Monday evening, following my game, I stopped by your house. To my surprise, you were awake, sitting on your couch in the living room. I came in and we chatted for an hour. You were burned but you still had hope,” he confided.
