Drink wine and shape ceramics
Of course, just because your birthday is in winter, you don’t have to do winter sports to celebrate the day. A good way to celebrate your own birthday is at the Wine & Clay event in the Fresh Ceramics studios in Hietzing and Neubau. Up to eight people can gather around the table and spend a Friday evening modeling clay with their hands. You will also taste a local wine. After two weeks, your vases, wine coolers, cans, or whatever else you want to model will be fired and you can pick them up. Participation costs 59 euros per person.
You can also host a private party and rent the studio for two hours. Then you either have the option of modeling your personal pieces out of clay or painting ceramics. To do this, you make an individual appointment. If you choose the first option, the celebration costs 60 euros per person. By the way, there is enough time during the break to open presents and eat cake.
