UN food supplies also stopped. Gaza’s isolation has forced the United Nations to freeze food and other essential supplies. The UN is warning of the possibility of widespread famine in Gaza.
With the disruption of fuel supply, communication systems in Gaza have also come to a complete halt. Paltel, the Palestinian telecommunications company, said there was no fuel to restore communication links. Losing communication will make people more miserable.
