Pedro Dellarossa, former mayor of Marcos Juárez and leader of the PRO Córdoba, will take office on December 10 as Minister of Industry of the provincial government of Martín Llaryora. The incorporation was confirmed by the team of the current mayor and governor-elect, and would be part of a broader negotiation with the party founded by Mauricio Macri.
The agreement was finalized yesterday, in the most turbulent hours of the Córdoba legislature in several years, when the Hacemos por Córdoba bloc imposed its majority to approve the 2024 Budget, the creation of the Agro Córdoba agency, the new Court law of Accounts and a surprising modification of the Electoral Code that makes setting the date of the elections more discretionary. In some of these projects the ruling party had the support of PRO legislators.
The novelty makes the present of Together for Change Córdoba even more conflictive. The names are not confirmed, but Dellarossa would not be the only one to join the Llaryora team from the PRO.
From the 6 de Julio Palace it was also confirmed that Daniel Pastore, current Secretary of Communication of the municipality, will be Minister of Communication and Protocol of the provincial management of Llaryora. Pastore is part of the team of officials that the governor-elect brought from San Francisco, where the future minister worked as a journalist.
