When Apple announced the fantastic feature Emergency SOS via satelliteat the launch of the iPhone 14 line, she said that all users would be entitled to two years of free use of the resource.
This “offer” was maintained this year, with the launch of the iPhones 15, especially because Apple has not even announced how much and how it will charge for the feature.
Today, fortunately, she announced what will extend the offer for another year. In other words, anyone who purchased an iPhone 14 at launch will be able to use Emergency SOS via satellite for free at least until the end of 2025. The offer is valid for everyone who activated their iPhone 14 until the announcement made today (15/11).
The feature was originally launched in the United States and Canada, but has been expanding to several other countries — including for Portugal, which allowed us to make a complete video regarding it. Unfortunately, Brazil has not yet been covered by the new feature, which is now in a total of 16 countries/regions.

Apparently, the company still needs more time before deciding how much and how it will charge for Emergency SOS via satellite.
