Fernando Alonso expressed his anger at the paparazzi he encountered when he visited his home country of Spain between the F1 Brazilian Grand Prix and the F1 Las Vegas Grand Prix. On social media, he added a vomit emoji to a fiery post denouncing an example of harassment by his country’s paparazzi-like media. Alonso showed a photo of a photographer on a motorbike, along with his car’s license plate, as the paparazzi broke traffic rules to take his photo.
“Welcome to Spain,” Alonso said. “However, this time they sent in the most unprepared photographer,” he said. “That’s why I rarely come, and I’m sure I won’t come even more.”Spanish newspapers quoted Alonso as saying. Two-time F1 world champion Alonso said he would report members of the media who drove on the pavement and ignored pedestrian crossings to the authorities.
