The business was recently honored in Linz am Pöstlingberg for “55 years of gourmet butcher shop Zehetner”: representatives of the Chamber of Commerce, especially state guild master Willibald Mandl from Ternberg, presented it with a certificate of honor and an anniversary medal.
Founded in 1968 by Stefanie and Siegfried Zehetner, the Zehetner gourmet butcher shop has developed very well to this day. In 2000, Elfriede, Siegfried and Johannes Zehetner took over the business and turned it into a model butcher shop in the Steyr region. The gourmet butcher shop, with headquarters in Dietachdorf and a mobile branch in Molln, is well-known and popular for, among other things, organic beef, veal and lamb and for the in-house production of all sausage, ham and bacon products.
Two healthy and tasty lunch menus are prepared every day. Cold and warm plates or rolls from Zehetner make every event a hit. Catering has become a core part of the butcher shop.
The Dietach juice ham, among other things, is sold as a private label.
For the first Sunday in Advent, traditionally also called Bratwurst Sunday, the Zehetner family and 15 current employees produce a wide variety of bratwurst products: from turkey to spinach bratwurst, there is something for every bratwurst lover in the wide range.
