Thiruvananthapuram: After the second Pinarayi government came to power, regarding 75 lakh rupees were spent on the treatment of Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and his wife. 72,09,482 rupees were spent twice at the Mayo Clinic in America for the treatment of the Chief Minister. 2,90,450 was spent in the capital for the treatment of the Chief Minister and his wife. The total cost was Rs 74.99 lakh.
29,82,039 rupees was spent for the treatment of Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan from January 11 to January 27, 2022 at the Mayo Clinic in America. On March 30, 2022, the Chief Minister applied for the amount. The amount was sanctioned on April 16. From 26 April 2022 to 9 May 2022, the cost of treatment at Mayo Clinic was Rs 42,27,443. For the treatment of Pinarayi Vijayan’s wife from April 21, 2022 to December 2022, Rs 47,769 was spent at the Legislators Hostel Health Clinic. The Chief Minister spent Rs 28,646 for treatment at the Legislators Hostel Health Clinic.
42,057 for the treatment of both at the Legislators Hostel Health Clinic during the period from April 16, 2021 to August 2021. 32,905 at Ayurveda Hospital and Legislators Hostel Health Clinic in December 2020 and from July 2020 to March 2021. 62,874 rupees have been sanctioned for two persons for treatment from December 2022 to January 8, 2023.
