When a bus pulled into the stop on Welser Bahnhofplatz on Tuesday at 7:19 a.m., the accident happened: According to witnesses, the 13-year-old student from the Wels-Land district wanted to cross the road at the southern stop when a 49-year-old driver pulled out the Kirchdorf district pulled into the stop. The student was hit by the bus and seriously injured.

He was taken to the Wels Clinic. From there it was said around 10:30 a.m. that the boy was out of danger.
