Cities Skylines II is out! Small problem, the city building game is riddled with bugs that spoil the experience.
Cities Skylines II by Colossal Order was released on October 24. In this city management game, you must succeed in building your metropolis and expanding it. This sequel to the eponymous simulation explores new aspects, using new artificial intelligence that improves road traffic and the lives of citizens. However, this new opus has had many problems since its release.
Today, most new game releases come with problems, Cities Skylines II is no exception. Many bugs are present, and here, it is the frame rate per second that lags behind, such as when creating a building. It also often happens that Skylines closes mid-game. This opus does not have an automatic save, which means that a large part of your work can be saved in an instant.
On the forums, players point the finger at artificial intelligence, which nevertheless needed to be improved. Depending on a character’s socio-professional category, their way of using their car changes; an elderly person does not drive at the same speed as a student. These progressions on the studio’s part are a very good thing to make it even more alive, but perhaps they might have focused on the substance first.

Colossal Order, the studio behind Cities Skylines II, warned its community as soon as the game was released. They are aware of performance issues and various bugs. Supported by the publisher Paradox Interactive, father of Crusader Kings, the city builder should therefore logically follow in the footsteps of the strategy game which became impeccable a few months following its release. We will therefore have to wait a little longer to have an optimal experience before building a city that rivals the largest megacities in the world.
