Sign of unity in the common fight once morest inflation
St. Pölten (OTS) – “Andreas Babler was confirmed as federal party leader with a good result of 88.76 percent. After a turbulent start to the year, the Social Democrats are now well positioned for the upcoming election year 2024. Andreas Babler and his team can rely on the support of the SPÖ Lower Austria,” say Control State Councilor and SPÖ-NÖ Chairman Sven Hergovich and State Managing Director Wolfgang Zwander.
“Now the full concentration of the Social Democrats must be on combating inflation and on a broad election program that can win a majority. Today’s key proposals, for example to reduce energy prices, the interest rate cap, or a job guarantee for the long-term unemployed, are an important basis for a social democracy that is well positioned for all elections in the coming period and represents a strong alternative to the current, often anti-social policies,” conclude Hergovich and Zwander.
